吳謙：上個(gè)月，中美兩國元首在舊金山會(huì)晤期間，一致同意在平等和尊重的基礎(chǔ)上恢復(fù)兩軍高層溝通、中美國防部工作會(huì)晤、中美海上軍事安全磋商機(jī)制會(huì)議，開展中美兩軍戰(zhàn)區(qū)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)通話。12月21日晚，中央軍委委員、軍委聯(lián)合參謀部參謀長劉振立與美軍參聯(lián)會(huì)主席布朗進(jìn)行視頻通話，就落實(shí)兩國元首舊金山會(huì)晤涉軍重要共識(shí)和共同關(guān)心的問題坦誠深入交換意見，取得積極的建設(shè)性成果。下一步，希望美方和中方相向而行，切實(shí)在平等和尊重的基礎(chǔ)上，推動(dòng)兩軍關(guān)系健康穩(wěn)定向前發(fā)展。關(guān)于具體交往項(xiàng)目，兩國防務(wù)部門正保持著溝通協(xié)調(diào)，我們將適時(shí)發(fā)布消息。
Wu Qian: During their San Francisco meeting last month, the heads of state of China and the US agreed to resume, on the basis of equality and respect, high-level military-to-military communication, the China-U.S. Defense Policy Coordination Talks, and the China-U.S. Military Maritime Consultative Agreement meetings, and to conduct telephone conversations between theater commanders. On the night of December21st, General Liu Zhenli, Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission (CMC), had a video call with General Charles Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US military. The two sides exchanged candid and in-depth views on implementing the important military-related consensus reached between the two heads of state in San Francisco and on other issues of common interest. The video call yielded positive and constructive outcomes. Going forward, we expect the US side to work with us in the same direction and take concrete actions on the basis of equality and respect to promote the sound and steady development of China-US military-to-military relationship. As for specific exchange programs, the defense authorities of the two countries are in communication and coordination with each other. We will release relevant information in due course.
