MND:"Seeking independence by force" only pushes Taiwan towards an extremely dangerous situation of war
2月29日下午，國(guó)防部舉行例行記者會(huì)，國(guó)防部新聞局副局長(zhǎng)、國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校答記者問(wèn)。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，臺(tái)灣將編列133.7億元新臺(tái)幣跨年度預(yù)算，向美采購(gòu)500枚“毒刺”導(dǎo)彈。賴清德近日與美國(guó)“哈德遜研究所”人員交流時(shí)宣稱，美政府推動(dòng)對(duì)臺(tái)軍售常態(tài)化，協(xié)助臺(tái)提升自我防衛(wèi)力量，臺(tái)將持續(xù)強(qiáng)化不對(duì)稱戰(zhàn)力。請(qǐng)問(wèn)對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？
It is reported that Taiwan will spend NT$ 13.37 billion from its multi-year budget to purchase 500 "Stinger" air defense missiles. When meeting with personnel from the US Hudson Institute, Lai Ching-te claimed that the US government continued to promote the normalization of arms sales to Taiwan, allowing the island to enhance its self defense capabilities, and Taiwan would bolster its asymmetric warfare capabilities. What’s your comment on this?
張曉剛：首先要指出的是，花老百姓血汗錢購(gòu)買多少武器，也改變不了臺(tái)灣是中國(guó)的臺(tái)灣的基本事實(shí)，更無(wú)法阻擋祖國(guó)統(tǒng)一的歷史大勢(shì)。我們正告民進(jìn)黨當(dāng)局：“以武謀獨(dú)”沒(méi)有出路，只會(huì)將臺(tái)灣推向兵兇戰(zhàn)危的極度危險(xiǎn)境地。
First I want to point out that no matter how many weapons the DPP buys with the hard-earned money of the taxpayers in Taiwan, it could never change the basic fact that Taiwan is China's Taiwan, let alone stopping the overwhelming trend towards national reunification. Our message to the DPP authorities is that seeking independence by force will lead nowhere. It will only push Taiwan towards an extremely dangerous situation of war.
美方一再違反一個(gè)中國(guó)原則和中美三個(gè)聯(lián)合公報(bào)，特別是“八一七公報(bào)”規(guī)定，違背在臺(tái)灣問(wèn)題上作出的政治承諾，不斷對(duì)臺(tái)售武，加強(qiáng)美臺(tái)軍事勾連，嚴(yán)重侵害中國(guó)主權(quán)安全，助長(zhǎng)“臺(tái)獨(dú)”氣焰，破壞臺(tái)海和平穩(wěn)定。中國(guó)人民解放軍將采取一切必要措施，堅(jiān)決粉碎任何形式的“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂圖謀，堅(jiān)決捍衛(wèi)國(guó)家主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整，堅(jiān)定維護(hù)臺(tái)海地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定。
The US side has repeatedly violated the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiqués, especially the August 17th Communiqué, and violated its political commitment to China on the Taiwan question by continuing its arms sales to Taiwan and strengthening military collusion with Taiwan. These acts have seriously undermined China's sovereignty and security, emboldened the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, and harmed peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. The PLA will take all necessary measures to resolutely smash any "Taiwan independence" separatist plot, firmly safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.
